Palm Beach Zoo Membership Information
Since childhood memories and impressions of wildlife are fundamental in developing adult beliefs, the zoo is a perfect place to capture the attention of children and provide joyful instruction about the value of biodiversity and the need to protect our environment.
A zoo membership is a great way to make the natural world a priority in your family's life, and also a meaningful way for you to support the zoo's important mission of providing the very best facilities, veterinary care, and nutrition for the animals entrusted to our care.
Annual Membership Privileges
- All Members Receive:
- Unlimited free admission to the Palm Beach Zoo for all those who qualify under your membership category;
- Free or discounted admission to over 140 zoos, aquariums, and museums nationwide through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Reciprocal Program (for a complete listing of participating institutions, please visit this link);
- 10% discount in the zoo’s Amazon Marketplace, Jungle Traders & Gator Traders Gift Shops, Zoo-venir Kiosk, and Tropics Café;
- One-year subscription to the quarterly publication, Palm Beach Zoo Magazine;
- Invitations to Members-Only events & exhibit openings;
- Discounted registration for all zoo programs, including Homeschool Classes, Zoo Camp, and Educational Workshops; and
- Opportunities to assist and support your Palm Beach Zoo in worldwide and local conservation efforts such as our Native Wildlife Rehabilitation Programs and the Species Survival Plans (SSP) operated in cooperation with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Palm Beach Zoo Travel Program
The Palm Beach Zoo’s Travel Program kicked off this past July with its first inaugural expedition to South Africa. Guided by zoo staff members Keith and Gwen Lovett, travelers embarked on a ten-day, adventure-filled journey of games drives and magnificent animal viewings.
Guests stayed at the Tinga Private Game Lodge in Kruger National Park-the world's largest game reserve-and at the new Earth Lodge in the Sabi Sabi concession. The group traveled to Cape Townand toured the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens, and also visited the native Jackass penguin habitat at Boulders Park. Additionally, zoo travelers took a two-day extension trip to Livingstone, Zambia, and toured Victoria Falls.
After their incredible journey, the group came home feeling exhilarated. Due to the success ofthe trip, Keith and his wife plan to return to South Africa in the summer of 2009 to lead another group of travelers.
Zoo trips are designed for small groups and offer travelers the unique opportunity to visit some of the world’s greatest wildlife destinations. Escorted by experienced zoo staff members, our travelers are introduced to wild animals, idyllic landscapes, and local customs.
